About the account manager position.

100% Remote Work

We are interested in hiring an account manager who will be responsible for daily contact between the agency and one or more client accounts. This position interfaces with various agency departments to move projects through on behalf of the client. This includes meeting with creative, media, public relations, inbound marketing, content marketing, social media marketing, account planning, and project management.

The account manager has major input in developing strategic marketing plans for their clients and collaborating with the account planners. After plans are developed and presented to clients, the account manager is responsible for carrying out the plan on a daily basis.

The right candidate is also responsible for gaining new business from existing clients. However, the account manager is not a salesperson and will never be asked to cold canvas for new business.

  • Not required to report to a traditional office location.
  • Flexibility to work from home, local co-working space, or anywhere as long as there is a strong internet connection in that location.
  • Travel (when it's safe to do so) is rarely required.
  • When travel is needed, it's limited to annual agency retreats, client meetings, or special visits to the Orlando office.

The vice president of client services or vice president of operations.

  • Able and willing to work in a remote environment such as a home or local co-working space without traditional in-person supervision.
  • Experience working remotely is preferred.
  • A "stable location" with a fast and reliable internet connection, especially for when we have calls and virtual meetings.
  • A smartphone with email capabilities.
  • An in-house office setup in a designated, professional, and quiet space.
  • A powerful enough computer (Mac preferred) to handle multitasking and the various demands of the job.
  • A good webcam.
  • A great manager of time.
  • Must have prior experience working at ab advertising agency or a marketing firm. 
  • Experience working at smaller agencies (50 persons or under) is a plus.
  • Detail oriented and able to prepare professional remotes.
  • Able to manage medium to large budgets.
  • A great multitasker.
  • Articulate and comfortable with public speaking.
  • Able to pitch and present to the agency president just as comfortably to a client.

Pick a quiet area or room away from distractions — yes, that includes the TV. Ideally, if space permits, a separate room with a door of its own can help create a clear delineation between “work” and “home”. Of course this is not always possible as space constraints are common.

  • Sending messages (Slack, Skype, etc.)
  • Uploading files to the internet (photos, videos, etc.)
  • Video conferencing.
  • Posting to social media.

Up to 25 Mbps recommended for:

  • 1-2 devices connected to the internet.

  • Social networking.

50 – 100 Mbps recommended for:

  • 3-5 devices connected to the internet.

  • Email.
  • Social networking.
  • Online multiplayer gaming.

150 – 200 Mbps recommended for:

  • 5 or more devices.
  • Surfing the web.
  • Email.

Download speeds of 100 Mbps should keep most families productive at home.

If you’ve got a smart home system and a family that loves to spend most of their time online, whether they’re working or not, then 200 Mbps is probably a good internet speed for you.
