About the podcast.

Wagner Live is a weekly podcast produced by The Wagner Agency and hosted by its president, Wágner dos Santos. The show is recorded as a live video stream syndicated to Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn.

In each episode and together with a special guest, expect to hear fresh perspectives on what’s hot in business right now.

About the host.

Wágner dos Santos got his start in the music business as a recording artist at the age of 15. Two years later he released a modestly successful EP and started his own independent record label. A year later and after developing a great interest in the online industry which helped spawn the Internet, he launched two popular online services, Novus Online Services, and ChatLink.

Today Wágner is on his fourth business and second advertising agency, The Wagner Agency. At this digital-first and consumer-focused marketing agency, he leads the account planning team and incorporates social anthropology and human behavioral trends in his strategic work.

For the past 7 years, Wágner has hosted and produced various live streaming programs and podcasts, most notably of which is Wagner Live.

When the time comes, follow these steps to enter the broadcast studio:

    1. We will provide you with a special link before broadcasting. Click on that link and you’ll be taken to our broadcast studio.
    2. Allow StreamYard, the broadcasting online software we use, to access your camera and mic.
    3. Make sure you have the correct camera and mic selected.
    4. Enter a display name. Use your actual name as it should appear or the name of your brand/company/organization. Then enter the studio.

Once the above steps have been completed successfully, we will be informed that you’ve arrived. You won’t be part of the broadcast until we're ready to add you in. The page will update to let you know when you’ve been added. Then it's showtime.

How do I prepare in advance of the broadcast if I’m a guest on the show?

Make sure you have the following:

    • laptop or desktop with a webcam and mic.
    • A recent version of Chrome or Firefox.
    • A strong internet connection. Just like Skype, you must have a strong internet connection for it to work well. If possible, connect to your router with an ethernet cable instead of using WiFi.
    • We recommend wearing earbuds or headphones to prevent audio echoes.

If you don’t have a laptop or desktop, then you can join on your phone. But the experience is usually best on a laptop/desktop. On Android, we recommend the Chrome browser. On iOS, you must use Safari.

If you're on iOS 14.2, we recommend updating your device before joining. iOS 14.2 has some issues with audio stuttering.
